MT2000 Mobile Terminal / Interface  
The MT2000 is designed to perform 2-way short messaging. It has a built-in GPS module and antennas for satellite communication.

The following interfaces are available from it’s port:

4 Digital I/O (3 volts logic)
2 Analog Inputs (3 volts system)
RS232 (2.4 Kbps)
RS485 (57.6 Kbps) for MT2000 diagnostics
Sensor Power output (5.2-8.2 V)
Main Power (4-9V)
Ext. Charge (12-32 V)
The MT2000 communicates in 4 modes:
Pre-scheduled reporting. The terminal can be programmed to report at specified intervals of time.
Polled. As needed, the customer at the office can request information from the terminal by issuing a "poll" command.
Event Triggered. Through sensors or interfaces connected to it’s port, the MT2000 can send a report when pre-set thresholds are exceeded (ex. pressure levels, water levels, temperature levels, etc…).
Messaging.
The MT2000 can send and receive short messages.
